This is a group for Widows and Widowers who have teens at home to share and support each other in a journey none of us signed on for. The particular challenges of being widowed and raising teenagers is particularly challenging. I'd like to create a group that can share our experiences, resources, and common journey in an active and fun environment. Let's plan activities like dinners, hikes, wine tasting, or even just coffee.

Meet with other local young widows and widowers, and all those who have lost their significant others (meaning you did not have to have been married/engaged to join this group). We are hoping to connect for grief sharing and healing that is specific to losing someone at a younger age.

This is a group for younger widows who are still in the life stage where becoming a widow was unimaginable. Meet other widows in a non-grief support environment. While there are many valuable resources either through facilitated groups or therapists, sometimes it's just nice to be with people who understand your experiences like no one else can.
